1. Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry (#4) [1st Week]

#1 Song One Year Ago: Shawn Mendes - Treat You Better (1st Of 2 Weeks)

Biggest Drop: Niall Horan - Slow Hands (-19)

Biggest Jump: TIETaylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do & Cheat Codes/Demi Lovato - No Promises (+13)

Entrants:
- I have not heard Meant To Be in a long time. From what I heard, it's decent. Florida George Line's vocals are pretty bad, and Rexha can't save the song, since she contributes less than Florida George Line. Overall, another country song that's down the waste.

- Just like Meant To Be, I haven't heard this in a while. The best part of this song is Sia's vocals. Zayn maybe could have done better in his parts, but Sia saves the song. Who knew this pair could pull it off. Too bad this song is not that big at the moment.

Hits1 is picking up on a lot of newcomers, like The Shawdowboxers, and Lauv. My first impression on this was that this was really good. But now, I feel as if I the song has faded on me. However, the song is still solid and I can consider it a great song. Not bad for a newcomer.

Hitbound:

  • Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
  • Harry Styles - Kiwi
  • Sofi Tukker - Best Friend (DEBUT)
  • Nick Jonas - Find You
  • Walk The Moon - One Foot (DEBUT)
  • P!nk/Eminem - Revenge (DEBUT)
  • Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes
  • Bruno Mars - Chunky
  • Taylor Swift - Gorgeous
  • Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves
  • The Shawdowboxers - Hot Damn
  • Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days
  • Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor
  • X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself
- The production ruins the song. In addition, the vocals are not the best. It's sad that a newcomer, specifically a duo, can't come up with a good song. I wish Hits1 could stop picking up on newcomers, and unpopular songs, and can add more popular more deserved songs.

Walk The Moon is back after their big hit, Shut Up And Dance. This is not as good, but it is pretty solid. The vocals really shine in this song, and the chorus is really good. Overall, A pretty good song.

Eminem is really good. I loved him back when he released songs like Not Afraid, my favorite song from him. He is really good in this song, but there is is one problem. P!nk's vocals are not as good as I would expect. She doesn't ruin the song, but enough to not be my favorite. If she did not have bad vocals, this would have been my favorite song on Hitbound. My favorite part is in the end when Eminem says, "F*ck yeah!", but P!nk says, "F*ck no!"

- After repeated listens, I have grown into Gorgeous. The chorus is what stands out in the song. I hope this can debut cause there will be three Taylor Swift songs in my top 5.

Top 5:
1. Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves
2. Taylor Swift - Gorgeous
3. Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
4. Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days
5. P!nk/Eminem - Revenge

I'll be with you from blurb to blurb...

- All the exits I really didn't care about including Back To You. I knew it was going to leave sometime, and it just seemed there as a place holder. However, you will be missed. I have come to a final conclusion that You Already Know is a decent song. Fergie does good, but Nicki does bad. Finally, the trash song is out! You will not be missed!

Heartless continues to fall all the way in the bottom 5. At this point, the song just becomes worse each time I listen to it. These newcomers that Hits1 decide to bring are not that good.

Shape Of You and Stay are surprisingly still here. I don't think I will ever get sick of both of these songs, especially the former. Ed Sheeran has dominated 2017.

Slow Hands took quite a tumble down to the top 30. I am pretty fine with this. If it stayed in the top 10 for any longer, I don't think I could take it. I'm happy it dropped.

- Hits1 must have heard me and both Look What You Made Me Do and ...Ready For It? jumped into the top 20 and top 10, respectively. I was happy when that happened. I hope that Look What You Made Me Do can hit #1 first. It's kinda weird when the second/promotional single hits #1 first.

- Yes! I grew into Glorious. After listening to a little of Gemini, I realized how good Skylar Grey's vocals are and Macklemore does a really good job with his part.

- After Thunder got dethroned, I was hoping on Taylor Swift to hit #1, but obviously that backfired. I thought it was the end, but Demi Lovato saves the day. I think this became popular a little too late, but who cares. It's still a great song.

#1 Song One Year Ago: The Chainsmokers/Halsey - Closer (5th Of 8 Weeks)

Biggest Drop: Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do (-24)

Biggest Jump: Ed Sheeran - Perfect (+25)

Entrants:
- So, we replace Harry with Niall. Either way, both are bad. However, Too Much To Ask is worse. Too bland, and the vocals are not that good. Also, I am not going to check out his new album because the songs will probably sound the same.

- You know what? I actually thought this song was really good, but I realized something the more my local radio played this song. Theres nothing unique about it. In addition, the song lacks the ability to be played at a party, but at the same time at a slow dance. Its at that weird awkward spot where you don't know when it is the right time to play it.

Hitbound:

  • Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor
  • Taylor Swift - Gorgeous (DEBUT)
  • Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
  • Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves (DEBUT)
  • Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes
  • The Shawdowboxers - Hot Damn
  • Zayn/Sia - Dusk Till Dawn
  • Bebe Rexha/Florida George Line - Meant To Be
  • Lauv - I Like Me Better
  • Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days
  • X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself
  • Nick Jonas - Find You
  • Bruno Mars - Chunky
  • Harry Styles - Kiwi
- I already explained this, but this is a definite step down from any of her other work. More on it when it debuts...

- YES! The moment I heard this song, I was in love with it. The best drop is that drop from Marshmello definitely. Marshmello is one of my favorite DJ's having made Alone, and Silence. I hope Hits1 can pick up on more Marshmello. Selena does a good job with the vocals. Overall, a very good song.

Top 5:
1. Selena Gomez/Marshmello - Wolves
2. Post Malone/21 Savage - Rockstar
3. Taylor Swift - Gorgeous
4. Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days
5. X Ambassadors - Ahead Of Myself

One, don't pick up the phone You know he's only blurbin cause he's drunk and alone:

- The exits were much needed. The Cure lasted WAY too long, and I wasn't a fan of Two Ghosts

- Yes, Bruno Mars has been demoted. I can't stand it being here, and hearing it after this long is so stupid. it's red...

- I am very surprised that Back To YouFriendsDespacitoNo Promises, and One More Light are still here. These are the songs that I don't really care about staying. Well maybe one I care about staying (You can figure it out).

- I really can't decide on an opinion on You Already Know. As of right know, I guess I have no opinion on this.

- I am so pissed off. I mean the moment I think it has a chance to hit #1, it falls more than 20 SPOTS! I mean I knew it is kinda dropping because it's done its job, but why drop this much. I really hope this rebounds...please?

- Some songs are starting to fade on me, like How Long. I am starting to realize that this is not 5/5 material.

- One down, one to go Hits1. What are you going to do about ...Ready For It? Probably make it drop into the bottom 5...

- I am ready for Love So Soft to hit the top 5.

- Yes. I am serious. I have grown into Perfect. After many listens, I can see the message in the song and his voice fits perfect (not a Ed Sheeran reference). I hope I can see this hit #1.

- What can I expect. I thought Thunder was going to hold it, or Taylor Swift can take over, but we have the wrong Ed song up top. Why? This wasn't as big of an hit as Perfect...

Entrants:

- G-Eazy is back and bringing two other people. As of right now, I am really enjoying this song. I like the part where it goes, "hit it one time...hit it two time". A$AP Rocky and Cardi B do a really nice job with this song too. I hope this can be more successful.

- Taylor Swift! I am going to be honest. This song SEEMS like she put no effort. That doesn't mean its bad. Her romantic voice is not in here. I am kinda disappointed. I do have high hopes for her album. Its definitely going to blow up. Now, this song is really good with the beat being the best part. This is no where near as good as ...Ready For It? which says a lot. Taylor Swift has really lost her momentum. I hope she doesn't become the next Katy Perry.

Blurb With Me And Get Some Money:

- Do Not be surprised with the ratings of certain hip-hop songs. I am exposed to the genre everyday, whether it be by school, or on spotify. There are some songs that I really don't like, which I will get to.

- This is definitely a rare occasion. Yes, I like What Ifs. Why? The build-up is just so strong I love their voices. Both sound really good together. Overall, I am really surprised I really like this song.

- So, out of the three Post Malone songs, one is bad. I Fall Apart is too bland. Really expected when you hear the first 15 seconds of the song. The other two are nice because they have Quavo and 21 Savage, who sound good with Post Malone.

- Nicki, WHY? Again, she ruins this one too. First You Already Know, now this? I mean both sound pretty mediocre, but overall Minaj sounds worse.

- I like Bad And Bougee, but Migos could have done better in this song. Gucci Mane sounds terrible, and the beginning is definitely the worst part. Migos just doesn't fit in the song as much. I really hoped I liked this song, but its the complete opposite...

- 16 Weeks. I know I already commented on this, but I want to elaborate on it. Lets recap. The summer of 2017 was the most inactive summer ever. Heck, 2017 in general was inactive. Despacito only got 16 weeks because there was no other challengers. Wild Thoughts was not even close to dethrone  Despacito. Also, it is really disappointing that a REMIX got 16 weeks, not the original. Also, there's Justin Bieber. Of course people want to hear Justin Bieber speak Spanish. It is tied with One Sweet Day, which deserved all 16 weeks, and is a MUCH better song than Despacito. We have a One-Hit Wonder tying the record. Really? This song lost steam when it hit #1 for the 10th Week! It continued because no other songs hit #1, and Youtube, having more than 4 billion views ON THE ORIGINAL SONG! God Its so stupid... and I really mean it. Now, people are trying to do what Justin did. Look at Beyonce! Why do you think she decided to do a remix of a SPANISH song. Anyways, that's all I have to say...

- Gucci Gang. The song everyone plays at my school. My opinion is that its bland. Yeah, it has a beat, but saying "Gucci Gang" for half of the song is not going to make it better. It almost seems like they gave up. Overall, not surprised for a newcomer.

- I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH. And yes, its much better than Taylor Swift. Usually, I hate French Montana, but this is his best song for sure. I haven't seen one person who hates this song.

- I am very surprised Perfect, Havana, and Sorry Not Sorry are in the top 10. Especially the former. Ed is probably going to the best artist of 2017, music wise. Shape Of You, Castle On The Hill, and this.

- And our top 5 stays in their positions. The top 5 is looking good, and I don't care if it stays or not.
